Faro International Airport is well served with frequent flights from major and budget airlines from most European cities. The cost of your flight is not included in the price of the retreat. We advise booking flights as early as possible
How do I get to the retreat?
What about airport transfer?
Taxis/Uber are available from Faro International Airport to Casa Amor, Olhão and cost €40-€50 approx. Transfers in a luxury car for up to 2 people (€34), or a luxury van for up to 8 people (€40), from Faro airport, can be arranged on request (we need 4 days notice if you wish to use this service). The cost of airport transfers is not included in the price of the retreat
How can I get in contact with you closer to the retreat?
A WhatsApp group will be set up one week before the retreat simply to cover logistics and will be deleted after the retreat. If you do not wish to be included in the WhatsApp group you can email us at hello@wearefoldretreats.com any day before we set up the chat
Can I bring my pet with me?
Pets are not allowed on the premises of Casa Amor
Is smoking permitted at the hotel?
Casa Amor is a completely non-smoking hotel
Do I need to have done Pilates and Yoga before, to enjoy the retreat?
We welcome all levels and all bodies at all stages of life. We will manage different levels through the programming of the retreat classes and/or including adjusting within classes.
Yes. We understand that people have different reasons for coming and may wish to do other things. However, the same all-inclusive price would apply.
Can I bring someone who won’t necessarily participate in the full retreat?
What should I bring?
Apart from workout gear, we suggest bringing shoes you can walk or hike in, a rain jacket, a jumper or sweatshirt, swimsuit, flip flops or sandals, sunscreen, a hat and maybe something nice to wear out one night. The vibe is definitely casual and comfortable - you can expect to see us in either jeans or leggings
What time is check-in/out?
Check-in 4-8pm, check-out before 11am
May I bring food or drinks with me?
Guests are not permitted to bring food or drink bought outside Casa Amor onto the premises
There are many options outside the door of the hotel worth exploring for a snack or delicious Portuguese coffee
Where may I buy food and drinks that are not included in the retreat price?
Are children allowed on the retreat?
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to stay at Casa Amor
What basics can I expect in my room?
Each room has a safe, towels, bathrobes and toiletries. Beach towels and parasols are also provided
Are you able to accommodate any special dietary requirements?
As best as possible the kitchen as Casa Amor can accommodate special dietary requirements. Whilst the booking form asks for dietary details, you can also contact us before booking your retreat with specific requests so that we can do our best to accommodate these
Do I have to pay a tourist tax?
The city of Olhão charges a tourist tax of €2 per person per night - it is to be paid on site and in cash. The room price does not include this tax
